Aster dropped his head into his hands. Cassie found her crutch and pulled herself up. She made her way to him. He looked up, surprised, when he felt her hand on his shoulder. Then he reached for her and she let him pull her onto his lap, and they clutched at each other like swimmers caught in the rip tide, each trying to save the other from drowning.
At some point her lips found his. He moaned like it was the end of the world. The sound broke her heart all over again. They broke apart for air but only for a moment, then she was kissing him again, and he was kissing her. Cassie tasted the salt of their mingled tears. She clutched harder at his fur, at the bulk of his muscles. He rubbed the bare skin of her back with his enormous fingers, igniting the flames of her desire, which never really left her anymore. Cassie gasped. It was soothing and luxurious and invigorating at the same time.
His hands roved over her back and neck. When he touched her collar he hesitated so Cassie took his hand and moved it to her breast. Aster grunted as though he’d been wounded. This first book in 'The Minotaur series' was sooo good I couldn't put it down until I finished it! Loved the hero! Although rough around the edges he is every females ideal in a mate. The heroin at first fustrates me BUT, because of her misadventure, she ends up growing as a person for the better and garner's great likability. I loved that the heroin doesn't turn into a whimpy, crying damsel in distress... she is a fighter! Loved that very much. Oh, and let's not forget the sexy and very steamy sex and romance between the two! The Bummer is that it leaves you at a cliff hanger ... I hope to find out what happens next in book 2 "The Minotaur's Mistress".Product details

It was and interesting look into a magical forest. Only she could tame him.
I loved this book. What a great writer. A must read. Only problem was this book was released in 2012 and still no second book. Hoping and praying we will hear news on that soon!
I LOVED this book and was so sad to see it end. It had a loose ending and I can't find the next book mentioned that was supposed to publish Spring 2013, or I would have gladly purchased it right away! This is a good one. I hope the next one comes soon. This author is so very talented and held my attention the entire time. It's been awhile since I've read such a well told and entertaining story. Please write more...I can't find anything. *sadness*
I really loved this novella, the plot was well thought out and the characters are all believable. Their reactions to each other and the situations they find themselves in make for a very enjoyable read. I can't wait for the next installment!
This story was a nice surprise. It's added to my personal collection of favorite reads. I can't wait to read the second book. I dislike waiting but I will. Tootles.
Loved this novella, however, have not being able to find "The Minotaurs Mistress" which is very disappointing
Monster Romance has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. Out of several books on the subject that I've purchased, this is one of the few I have still held onto and read repeatedly. If you enjoy romance (and plot) with your monster erotica this is the book for you.
Unlike other monster erotica stories The Minotaur's Conquest has a plot, likable characters who actually interact with each other, and avoids the dubious consent/ borderline rape that is peppered into most monster erotica. The story eases into the hot stuff. It's refreshing to have characters who can talk with each other, and it is something rarely seen in monster erotica.
There's a background to the story I'd love to hear more about whether it is Aster's mysterious background or Cassie and Aster's future antics. Aside from a few grammar mistakes, it was a good, delightful read. While still obvious an erotica, it managed to avoid most of the cliches I've found in monster erotica.
I hope to hear more from the author.
